What a phenomenal clinic executed by Brendan here in Maryland for the Frida Icelandic Club. Brendan explains everything in simplistic, easy to follow maneuvers. Many dressage trainers over-complicate everything and frustrate the rider. I love his natural, unencumbered methods of guiding the horse through the exercises without holding or forcing them into a certain frame. I was simply blown away by this "Horse Whisperer."

Brendan, I was extremely impressed with your riding skills, the manner in which you presented the bio-mechanics of each particular movement in understandable terms and execution, the partnership between you and your horse, and your calm and steady demeanor.

Sue, Joan and I, along with our horses, had an awesome learning experience this weekend! It went way too fast! We can't wait to attend more clinics. Also, a big thank you to Rutlledge Farm letting us use their beautiful faciility and for being so kind! We can't wait to attend more clinics!!!

It was fantastic seeing you today at the PA Horse Expo! In the short time I got to watch your clinic I learned a lot and I can't wait to take that back to the farm and put all I learned into my work with the horses. The crew I was with was really disappointed that you didn't have any sort of CD/DVD! But I really do look forward to seeing my of you in the future - until next year!

Thanks so much for your recent clinic at Vanderbeek Farm. We look forward to having you return to the farm whenever you are passing through NEPA. Our Western and English riders continue to enjoy putting the groundwork and serpentine exercises!!!

Brendan, Hilde and I thank you for working your magic at Marybeth's clinic. The intense groundwork I did helped Hilde build trust in me and helped me build trust in myself. I am looking forward to another clinic with you and your gifted skills with both horses and people. Susan

Got your link from Specialized Saddles as a rep for their product. Having a grueling time saddle fitting my 4.5 yr old gelding TWH. A friend at the barn has a SS and swears by it. Are you going to be at the Maryland Horse Expo Jan 2013, Timonium, MD? Sharon

After seeing Brendan at the Harrisurg Horse Expo, I sent my TWH filly to him for ground manner training and a tune up. It was money well spent and it was only 1 week. I look forward to working with Brendan in the future with this little mare. Brendan has such a kind attitude...... ;)

I have a farm on the eastern shore of Va. about 3 or four hours from you. I saw you at the Del Expo. I have a 7 yr old reiner who has shown in the green division. althouth I consider myself a pretty good rider and handler of horses I have found that reining horses need more than a (pretty good rider) I'd like to set something up for one of your three day clinics. I cant do the april one as we have shows here ourselves. Our trainer is an eventer and an excellent horse person but I would like to do a couple of reining shows this year and feel more specific training from someone like you would help me a great deal . Thanks in advance

It was nice to meet you at the Delaware expo today. I was impressed with your kindness and patience. Thank you for the advice you gave on helping to get my colt out of my space and backing. I would like to keep in touch and set something up with you when he gets older (he will be a year in May) Thanks again Stacy

Saw you at the horse expo, great job in the round pen 101 clinic! looking forward to possibly scheduling a clinic. I'm not sure how booked you are, but if you are looking for a project and a way to get your name out there some more, check out this competition. Its a great way to connect with other trainers as well as hopefully gain a few clients from the audience at the competition. http://www.extrememustangmakeover.com/emmnewjersey.php

Met you this weekend at the Susquehanna Valley Reining Association (SVRA)'s last horse show of the season. Was thrilled to watch to ride, especially since it was your first reining show. Was very impressed, and I am so glad I met you and am now one of your friends. You're pretty amazing.

I haven't seen that much patience and perseverance (especially in a young person) ever. You are very gifted and a professional at what you do! You have enriched my life in so many ways. Thank you. I learned from you that my horse Rebel is capable of so many things and all I have to do is press through and be persistent, he is actually more than willing. Gods blessings on you and may you follow His lead!

The progress that me and my horse made in our time at the three day clinic Brendan gave was phenomenal. He was able to explain the Lyons method in a very straight forward, easy to understand way, and gave it in increments that allowed everyone to learn and work together, but still at their own pace. I didn't think i would gain so much in such a short amount of time. In the three days we started to develop softness in the bridle, lateral movement, collection, speed control, flying lead changes, and even tricks! He is a calm, consistent, focused trainer, and deals with various "vices" and "problem horses" in such a way that he makes it look effortless. I would highly recommend him as a clinician, teacher, or trainer to anyone looking to develop their horse for any discipline. I went home with lots of "homework", new exercises and techniques to practice with my horse. I definitely feel like i got more than my moneys worth for all that we learned and accomplished. I cant wait for the next clinic!

Brendan did an amazing job at the clinic in April. I am amazed that he made it so simple. He has wealth of knowledge that he is willing to share. If you ever have the opportunity to work with Brendan grab it. He is worth every penny!

Brendan came to Michigan for a 3 day horse clinic and I had so much fun :) I am 14 years old, and Brendan made everything sound so simple it was almost hard! I learned so much, as did my horse cooper. He is so calm with the horses, and can get them to do pretty much anything he asked. He even showed me how to work with my horse to lay down! I was extremly happy with the clinic and can not wait until the next one!! Thank you brendan!

It is such a blessing to Jim and I to see what you have done and are doing in your life. I felt like a proud parent as we watched what you have done with that colt you bought. He is a beautiful horse. Is his temperment good? Jim and I would love to bring our family to see you sometime. We also have a daughter (Josephine) graduating this year and she would like to learn how to train correctly. She has very little fear and has broke many of our young horses. We sold Doc back to the first person who rode him. And are no longer breeding, but we still have 2 of Docs off spring. Looking forward hearing from you and your family, Blesssings Jim and Elena Murphy
